Bush Fire Appeal raises $28,000.00

On Friday the 13th March Riverside Oaks Golf Resort held a Bush Fire Fundraiser to Raise money for the Red Cross Disaster Recovery & Relief and the South Maroota Rural Fire Service.
The event was a huge success, with over 70 people competing in the golf event and 150 people attending the dinner and auction.
During the evening guests were treated to the delightful talents of Steam Diva & Dr Lucifer from Copanello Entertainment, an Opera Duo who performed a wonderful range of musical classics.
General Manager Andrews Casey said ” We would like to thank our amazing local community, suppliers & consultants for supporting our Bush fire event last Friday, with all of the wonderful, support and donations from local business such as Cutcliffe Real-Estate, Active Tree Service and our industry suppliers and consultants including PJC Sports turf , Wisdom Property Group , SDG Surveys & Silk Road Commercial, we were able to raise $28,000.00 to be donated to the Red Cross and South Maroota RFS”.
Riverside Oaks will continue to work closely with the Local RFS and assist them in connecting with the local community, fundraising and volunteer recruitment.
