Greenkeepers/Groundsman- Fulltime
Riverside Oaks golf resort invites applicants for fulltime Greenkeepers/Groundsman to join the Maintenance team.
What the role involves:
- Assisting with set up of golf course for general play
- Pest and disease identification and control
- Course construction
- Performing all functions of Course maintenance activities as directed
- Irrigation repair and maintenance
- Performing tasks that are necessary to keep maintenance facility and equipment clean and organized
- Applying, storing and handling of chemicals as required and directed
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a current Driver’s license
- Preferably completed level 3 in turf management
- Have a current chemical application certificate
- Possess a keen eye for detail.
- Have demonstrated the ability to be courteous towards members and present a positive attitude.
- Understand golf and golf rules
- Be highly motivated
- Understand WH&S and environmental requirements on golf courses

Pro-Shop Assistant-Casual
You will assist in the smooth running of the Golf Shop and Retail activity.
This role is a casual position and will require mid-week and weekend work
The key tasks include:
- Assisting the Golf Department, managing the day-to-day operations
- Opening & closing of competitions and generating results
- Deliver a professional and exceptional service experience
- Daily operational tasks include but are not limited to cleaning and maintenance of cart storage and staging areas
- Assist with tee bookings
- Assist with retail service
- All other duties (related to Golf Shop operations)
Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes:
- A passion for golf and strong customer service
- Retail Experience
- A hard-working honest and self-motivated team player
- Availability to work mid-week and weekends – shifts ranging between 6.00 am starts and 6 pm finishes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and members
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks

Bar Attendants – Casual
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. A good Bartender will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
The key tasks include:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes:
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
- Relevant training certificate
